Day 1 : Arrive Durban Airport — Transfer to & Overnight ScubaAddicts Dive Lodge.
Day 2 : 2 x dives Aliwal Shoal — Transfer to Port St. Johns — Overnight Port St. Johns
Day 3 : Full-day unlimited Sardine Run Diving — Overnight Port St. Johns, South Africa

Day 8 : Airport Transfer to Durban International Airport [flights after 4pm!]
Day 1 : Arrive Durban International Airport — Transfer to & Overnight ScubaAddicts Lodge & Dive Centre.
On arrival at Durban International Airport [KSIA / DUR] or other pick-up points you will be met and transferred to your accommodation, ScubaAddicts Lodge & Dive Centre which is situated in the diving town of Umkomaas about 80km south of the airport.
When you arrive at the dive lodge, you will be checked into your room and spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach or around the pool. Late afternoon you will receive a briefing about the diving for the week. In the evening enjoy dinner at the lodge or at one of the local restaurants. Overnight at the ScubaAddicts Lodge & Dive Centre.
Day 2 : 2 x dives Aliwal Shoal — Transfer to Port St. Johns — Overnight Port St. Johns.
After breakfast meet at the on-site dive centre to kit-up and prepare for the diving.
The diving today will give you a chance to check your gear and get your weighting comfortable. The shark dives during the Sardine Run takes place on the reefs of Aliwal Shoal. During the winter months, the reefs are home to hundreds of ragged tooth sharks. There are also a number of other species around during this period including oceanic blacktip sharks, dusky sharks, copper sharks and on occasion tiger sharks.
After the diving you return to the ScubaAddicts Dive Lodge for lunch before transferring south to Port St. Johns, the journey lasts around 4 hours. Late afternoon you will check in to your accommodation, situated on the river banks at Port St. Johns. The upmarket lodge overlooks the river and has en-suite facilities. There is a fantastic restaurant and bar to enjoy a meal and some drinks wiliest having a chat with the guides about diving the Sardine Run. Overnight Cremorne Estate, Port St. Johns.
Day 3 to Day 7: Full Day Sardine Run diving — Overnight Cremorne Estate, Port St Johns.
Each morning while you have breakfast, updates are received about the Sardine Run movements. You will spend the day out at sea diving the Sardine Run, getting up close and personal with almost every species of marine life including birds, dolphins, game fish, whales, sharks and millions of sardines.
In the afternoon you return to shore where you can enjoy a local excursion or relax at the bar. There are fantastic views and walks. In the evening enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Overnight Cremorne Estate, Port St. Johns.
Day 8 : Airport Transfers to Durban International Airport or extend your stay.
After breakfast you depart Port St Johns for your transfer to Durban International Airport for flights departing after 4PM. Flights need to depart Durban International Airport after 4PM to ensure you have enough time to check in.
If you cannot get flights after 4PM, we can arrange overnight accommodation and airport transfers the following day.
