Red Sea Pyramids & Ancient Cities by Marcelina

Red Sea Pyramids & Ancient Cities

Some of the world’s best dive sites are found in the Red Sea with an abundant and varied marine life giving you the opportunity to encounter various types of groupers, stingrays, parrotfish, angelfish, butterfly fish and turtles. But this is not all! Egypt is also famous for its ancient civilization and some of the world’s most ancient artefacts. It preserves the seventh wonder of the world, the pyramid of Giza and the Great Sphinx of Giza.

Combining the two together can be challenging and sometimes perceived as an unrealistic trip, hence why we have tailor made the following itinerary for you.

Day 1:

Depart from London Gatwick or Manchester and arrive in Sharm El Sheikh. Flights depart from Gatwick in the morning and take around 5 hours. On arrival in Sharm El Sheikh you will be met by an Ultimate Diving representative and receive assistance with your visa if purchased in advance and through immigration. Once you have collected your luggage you will be transferred to Dahab, a Bedouin village famous for its breathtaking coastline of golden palm fringed bays, its crystal clear water and friendly people.

On arrival at Inmo Divers you will be directed to a small reception area for check in.

From day 2 to day 7:

Your Red Sea diving experience commences. The Inmo Divers 5 days diving package will give the opportunity to dive some of the best dive sites in Dahab, including the amazing Canyon and Blue Hole. The package is based on 2 dives a day departing from the dive centre in the morning and returning around 2 or 3 o’clock in the afternoon.

Day 8:

On day 8 you will be picked up from the hotel early morning and transferred to Sharm El Sheikh Airport for a flight to Cairo. The flight takes approximately 1 hour from Sharm. On arrival in Cairo you will be met by an Ultimate Diving representative and transferred to the Egyptian Museum for a touristic visit followed by lunch and a transfer to your overnight hotel in Cairo. On arrival in Sharm El Sheikh you will be transferred to the Bay View Hotel to conclude your diving adventure with Emperor Divers .

Day 10 & 11:

While in Sharm El Sheikh you will have two days diving with Emperor Divers and the opportunity to visit the Straits of Tiran and Ras Mohammed. Please note these trips are based on the dive centre schedule. If you are quite keen on any of particular site including the Ras Mohammed and the Straits of Tiran please let a member of the team know at the time of booking so that it can be requested in advance for you.
